Kentrox Enhances Optima with Thin Client and Google Maps
Simplifies large deployments of remote site management for carriers worldwide

Highlights of the release include a thin client, which simplifies large carrier deployments of remote site management using a standard laptop web browser, and integrated global Google™ GIS maps, enabling localized point and click visibility.
Optima gives service providers a complete 360 degree view and control of remote sites, enabling virtual truck rolls and proactive maintenance. Remote site management improves technician efficiency and network availability, and ultimately increases operational efficiency up to 50%. The management portal also provides automated preventative maintenance tools and performance reporting to enable operators to view trending and availability of their networks.
Optima 7.0 new features include:

- Enhanced integration with Remote RMX-3200: provides next generation in modular and scalable remote site management
- Enhanced integration with Polled Device Monitor: allows users to easily view GPS-enabled monitoring of portable equipment with Google maps
- Customizable key performance indicators: enable carriers to create custom performance indicators to track, report and improve network performance
- Automated backup and restore: provides greater flexibility to automate system maintenance and resiliency related to system backup and restore
